C36-Clinical Supervision I

Goal:
The goal of this course is to inform participants about what supervision is, what supervisors do and expose participants to various models of supervision.

Objective:
Participants will be able to express the purpose of supervision and discuss the qualities of effective supervision. You will be able to define the role of the supervisor and how to select a preferred style. Participants will also be able to discuss how to select a Model of Supervision.


C37-Clinical Supervision II

Goal:
The goal of this course is to assist participants in the methods and techniques of supervision, defining the role of the relationship in supervision and how the supervisor selects methods and techniques to help the supervisee grow and develop.

Objective:
Participants will be able to discuss how to structure a case conference, form a working alliance with the supervisee and how to apply skills to work with the difficult supervisee. Participants will also be able to discuss some major problems in the supervisory relationship and how to resolve them.


C38-Clinical Supervision III / C38a Clinical Supervision IIIa

15 Hours / 16 Hours

Goal:
This course will cover all topics in Clinical Supervision I & II and a variety of other issues. It will further enhance the supervisor in performing their job in an ethical and effective manner.

Objective:
In this course participants will be able to describe what a dual relationship is and problems with them, the ethical and legal issues in supervision, the main supervisee mistakes with clients. Participants will also be exposed to multicultural issues in supervision, good record keeping, and the role of personal development.

C38-Clinical Supervision III is a 15hour course
