This course will address various psychiatric disorders that may coexist with alcoholism.
Goal:
The purpose of this course is to expand the counselors knowledge about the complexities involved with the treatment of mental illness coexisting with the disease of addiction.
Objective:
Describe 3 symptoms found in Anxiety Disorders.Discuss the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria for alcoholism.
Differentiate between drug induced psychoses and drug addiction behaviors.
